Recently, I did an amazing shoot with Cicillia Kaufman. She is a really talented Make-Up Artist, that many top photographers use here in Johannesburg. And when she contacted me for a shoot, I was beyond excited.

So we shot together a week before this shoot. It was her students work, which Ill be uploading as I finish them.
However, These shots, I just had to upload.

I love the feel and emotion of the shots, and the distinctive differences in each of them, yet the scary fact that its all the same model, the talented Sarah.

So, I hope you like them . More will be coming so keep watching !

So, A mate and I was heading off for a night of fun and his friend came along. I had met him at a party before but didnt get much of a chance to talk to him. So whilst we were driving, we got chatting and  he mentioned that hes holding a little show with his housemate, whos a fashion designer/stylist.  Not thinking too much about it, we carried on chatting and I thought it would be a cool fun thing to do and might turn out good for my portfolio. It turns out he is the Head Creative Director / Head Stylist at Franco International, the Cresta Branch.

Shock horror !

When I  found that out , I had instant nerves and fear but after doing some research, planning and frantically trying to get my business cards printed, the day arrived and after a quick set-up, things all went accordingly to plan. The clothes, hair and everything else was fantastic and needless to say I was impressed.It was the 2nd show I had ever been to.

Some good friends of mine was there too so we had a little chat and afterwards, they helped me out, so a big thanks to Johann Marx and Jaclyn.

Anyway, The show consisted of two sections. The “ramp” section and then after the show when I had a bit more time to take shots.

The ramp section was a little interesting. The models walked out, and I had literally a second to take the shot and then they carried on walking.  I think I got a lot of cool shots from here. But after the show, I had a bit of time to take some shots and have a bit more time to compose my shots. That being said, they didnt stick around for long.

Im really happy with the shots overall. Live and learn as usual.

These are just a few of the shots, otherwise we’d have 40 shots on our hands.

For the past while, me and laurette have been chatting about doing a shoot.
Something really edgy and fun and different. Something to put the rock back in our souls.

So after a really cool event held by www.ZaGlamour.co.za ( check em out, they rock ) , Laurette and Clyde ( her boyfriend ) stayed over at my house.

Waking up to an onslaught of Coffee and McMuffins , we got shooting shortly after that, just some fun personal stuff.

And a question for you all, which person from the past do you like for their style or image ? For example, Slash , the legendary guitarist.
